Multicoupler HC-UHF-3 is a 3-channel UHF TX/RX antenna combiner designed to allow two UHF repeaters to share a single antenna. Designed in the UK, the HC-UHF-3 delivers adequate TX-RX and TX-TX separation in a compact 2U rack-mount chassis. HC-UHF-3 can be deployed immediately using any 2 of 5 repeater frequencies from the immediately available Ofcom Simple Site Licence, or re-tuned to any frequency between 450 and 470 MHz with 5.5-10 MHz channel separation (wider separation "Model 2" is available by special order).

Innovative Engineering

Multicoupler HC-UHF-3 uses a bandpass duplexer, meaning only the intended signals pass through the combiner.

Custom designed dual stage transmit isolators ensure maximum TX-TX isolation and minimal intermodulation.

A high gain low noise amplifier (LNA) offsets insertion losses, ensuring receiver sensitivity is maintained, even when split 2 ways.

Designed for Shared Antenna Systems

Multicoupler HC-UHF-3 is a 3-channel hybrid TX/RX combiner, meaning it manages both transmit and receive in a single unit.

This allows 3 repeaters operating on adjacent frequencies to safely share one antenna while maintaining clean signal separation paths and stable operation.

Carefully engineered, the HC-UHF-3 minimises any de-sense and intermodulation between channels - making it ideal for 3-repeater installations.

Immediately Deployable Ofcom Simple Site Repeater Frequencies

Did you know? In the UK, there is an Ofcom Simple Site Licence available for any UK based organisation and is instantly issued, allowing a 1-5 channel low power repeater system to be installed without any delay.

With that in mind, Multicoupler has designed and pre-tuned the HC-UHF-3 to cover the below Ofcom Simple Site repeater frequencies right out the box, allowing the engineer to chose any 2 of the below Ofcom Simple Site Repeater frequencies and deploy a 2 channel system immediately.

Please note: All HC series UHF combiners can be tuned to any frequency between 420 and 470 MHz.
